East Syracuse

East Syracuse is an incorporated village and a suburb of the City of Syracuse. It is in eastern Onondaga County. Its population was 3,084 at the 2010 census. East Syracuse is adjacent to DeWitt, a town in Onondaga County. The city's population is spread out across several communities.

The city's center is one mile east of the Syracuse Amtrak Station and two miles northeast of Le Moyne College. Several hotels can be found in and around East Syracuse. The median home value in the city is $217,400. However, home prices are lower in the city's outer neighborhoods.

When building the community, residents should consider the history and culture of the city. The city was inhabited by Onondaga clans who lived along the eastern boundary of their territory. The district is made up of approximately 20% minority students and a quarter of economically disadvantaged students.
